Is Famewex the same as Fameswap?

No. Famewex.com is a different site with a different product. When we loaded it on 8 October 2026, it showed an online crypto casino branded Famewex, with slots, a welcome bonus and a VIP club. The page never mentioned Fameswap, TikTok, YouTube or escrow.

The domain records differ too. Famewex.com was registered on 11 September 2026. Fameswap.com was registered on 1 February 2013, through a different registrar. To be sure you are on the real marketplace, type fameswap.com into the address bar yourself. Before you log in or pay, check that the address reads fameswap.com, letter for letter.

What Fameswap Is and How a Deal Works

Fameswap is a peer-to-peer marketplace. It lists TikTok accounts, YouTube channels, Twitter accounts, theme pages and online businesses, and its footer dates the company to 2013. When we checked on 8 October 2026, its homepage claimed more than 25,000 listings. You can browse without signing up, but category and listing pages hide the price until you log in. Full usernames need a paid Premium plan.

A deal works like this. You find a listing and send the seller an offer. Some sellers also offer a Buy Now option. Once a price is agreed, you either pay the seller directly or run the deal through Fameswap's escrow. Escrow is not automatic. The seller has to turn it on for their listing. Under escrow, Fameswap holds your money until you confirm the account is what was promised. Their terms say the escrow service is powered by a third party, Payoneer Escrow.

Is Fameswap safe to buy from?

Fameswap is safe on the deals you run through its escrow, and risky on the deals you do not. Escrow is opt-in per listing rather than automatic, so on Fameswap "safe" is a setting the seller has to switch on, not a property of the site.

Here is the practical version. With escrow on, Fameswap's escrow page says your money stays held until you inspect the account and release it. If something is wrong, you can open a dispute instead. How does Fameswap escrow work?

Fameswap escrow holds your payment while the account changes hands, and releases it to the seller only after you confirm the account is what was promised. Its escrow page puts the cost at 5 percent of the offer price or $50, whichever is greater, on eligible deals over $100. That page names Fameswap, Inc. as the escrow agent, while its terms say a third party, Payoneer Escrow, powers the service.

The sequence runs like this. You agree a price with the seller, the escrow is opened, and you fund it by wire transfer or cryptocurrency. The seller then sends the account details to Fameswap, which checks them and passes them to you. You inspect the account and release the money. If the account is not what was listed, you open a dispute, and the funds stay in escrow while it is worked out.

Two details decide whether it is worth it on your deal. The first is the $50 floor. On a $300 TikTok account, paying the fee alone works out at roughly 17 percent, which is real money on a small purchase. The second is that escrow has to be enabled on the listing. If the seller has not turned it on, there is no escrow to use. If either the buyer or the seller has Premium, the rate drops to 3 percent. The $50 minimum still applies, and Fameswap says that rate is for a limited time.

What Fameswap Costs and How Long It Takes

Fameswap's published fee schedule says escrow costs 5 percent of the offer price or $50, whichever is greater, on eligible deals over $100. Theme pages carry a lower $10 minimum. If the buyer or the seller pays for Premium at $59 a month, the rate drops to 3 percent. The $50 minimum stays, and Fameswap says that rate is for a limited time. The buyer, the seller, or both can pay the fee, and that gets agreed when the escrow starts. On small deals the $50 minimum stings. On a $300 account it works out to about 17 percent if you cover it alone.

How you pay matters too. The escrow page lists wire transfer or cryptocurrency as the ways to fund a deal. Neither can be reversed the way a card payment can. Once the money moves, it moves.

Speed is decent by marketplace standards. The same page says simple escrows can close the same day the payment arrives. The average escrow takes 2 to 3 days when both sides are new to the process. Add the time it takes to find a listing, message the seller, and agree on a price. Plan on days, not hours.

Where Buyers Get Hurt on Peer-to-Peer Marketplaces

Fameswap says its team checks listings, but its terms do not stand behind them. Its homepage says the team "reviews all accounts prior to listing them to go live," and some listings show an Ownership Verified badge. Yet the terms state that Fameswap "does not monitor authenticity of any users or members of our site and will not be held liable for their actions." They add that it "does not guarantee any claims or promises made by Sellers or Buyers." A review before listing is not a promise that the stats are real. Read that twice before you send a wire.

Two scam patterns matter most on any peer-to-peer account marketplace. First, inflated stats. A listing can show a big follower count that was built with bots, and since Fameswap does not guarantee seller claims, spotting that is your job. Second, the recovery scam. A seller hands over the account, waits for the escrow to close, then pulls the account back through the original email or phone number. Escrow protects you while the deal is open, not after it ends. Both patterns have the same fix. Run the deal through escrow, check the stats before you release payment, and change every linked email and phone number the moment you get the login. That cuts off the usual way back in.

What Reviewers Say About Fameswap

Reviews are mixed and lean positive. On RealReviews.io, Fameswap holds 4.0 out of 5 stars across 47 reviews, and 80 percent of reviewers there recommend it. Happy users praise the escrow and the clear handover steps. One seller wrote that "escrow kept me safe."

The complaints follow a pattern. Reviewers on that site report slow support replies, transfer delays, and verification problems. One said the platform "took my cash and haven't provided access to the account I paid for." These are individual reports, not proof of how a marketplace with thousands of listings behaves overall. But they match the known weak points of the peer-to-peer model.

For balance, the automated checker Scamadviser rates fameswap.com "Very Likely Safe" and says it thinks the site is "legit and safe for consumers to access." It still notes hidden WHOIS data, a registrar it calls "popular amongst scammers," and a "possibly harmful" flag from Gridinsoft. Automated trust scores are blunt tools either way.
