Is TikTok Creator Rewards available in Albania?

No. Albania is not one of the eight countries where Creator Rewards runs. The eight that pay are the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Japan, South Korea, Brazil and Mexico. Nothing in the Balkans is on that list.

Residency is the first gate. TikTok's Creator Rewards Program terms say a creator must be a legal resident of a country where the program is made available. The creator must also be 18 or older. An account run from Tirana or Durrës fails that line before anything else is checked. Our Creator Rewards countries page shows the status of every country on one screen.

The other gates only matter once your country is in. TikTok's program terms for Europe ask for 10,000 authentic followers and 100,000 authentic video views over the last 30 days. Business Accounts are ruled out, and no money moves until you reach a $50 payment threshold.

So an Albanian creator is not rejected, because there is no button to press and no form to fill in. You can pass 10,000 followers, post every day for a year, and still never see a payout tab.

A refusal inside the eight is a different story. If you live in a paying country and got a no, the cause is usually one of a few fixable things. We list them on our Creator Rewards rejected page.

Why do views from Albania pay $0?

Because Creator Rewards pays only for qualified views, and a view from inside Albania can never be one. A qualified view is a much narrower thing than a view, and the definition is where most creators get caught.

Four tests apply at once. The video must be one minute or longer, and the viewer must watch for five seconds or more. The viewer cannot have marked it as not interested. And repeat views from one account count once, under TikTok's program terms.

Then comes the fifth test, the one this page is about. The viewer has to be in one of the eight paying countries. A viewer in Shkodër or Vlorë fails it, so that view pays nothing, even on an account that is fully eligible.

Here is the math. Creators report roughly $0.40 to $1.00 per 1,000 qualified US views. Say a video gets 500,000 views, and 20,000 of them are qualified views from the United States. That pays about $8 to $20, while the other 480,000 views pay $0.

Now flip it. The same 500,000 views, all qualified and all from the United States, pay about $200 to $500. That is the same work and the same view count for twenty-five times the money. Each test gets its own section on our qualified views page.

Do Albanians in Italy and Greece count as qualified views?

No. Italy and Greece hold the two largest Albanian communities in Europe, and neither country is one of the eight. A view from Milan or Athens pays exactly what a view from Tirana pays, which is $0. Geography decides the payout, and the geography of the Albanian diaspora points the wrong way.

The numbers are big. Eurostat counted 414,622 Albanian citizens living in Italy on 1 January 2025. It counts citizenship only, so anyone who has since taken an Italian passport is not in it.

Greece is close behind. The 2021 census by ELSTAT found 374,926 Albanian citizens living in Greece, or 49.0% of all foreign citizens counted in the country. The next nationality, Bulgaria, stood at 4.6%, so nothing else came close.

Put the two together and you get close to 790,000 Albanian citizens, more than six times the Germany count. Those two audiences sit in countries TikTok does not pay for. Content made for cousins in Bari or Thessaloniki builds reach, and reach is worth something. It never becomes a Creator Rewards payout.

Do Albanians in Germany, the UK and the US count?

Yes, for a creator who is already eligible. Germany, the United Kingdom and the United States are all in the eight, so views from Albanians living there can be qualified views. That is the useful half of the diaspora map.

Germany is the largest of the three. Eurostat counted 118,697 Albanian citizens in Germany on 1 January 2025, up from 109,108 a year earlier. That community is growing quickly while the Italian one is slowly shrinking.

The United Kingdom comes next. The 2021 census found 68,672 people born in Albania living in England and Wales, with 67,957 of them in England. Kosovo is counted separately in that data, at 30,517 people, and this page keeps the two apart.

The United States is in the eight too. Views from Albanian-American viewers count for an eligible account, and creators report roughly $0.40 to $1.00 per 1,000 of them. That makes an Albanian-American audience a valuable one for any eligible account to build.

Read the catch carefully. These viewers raise what an eligible account earns, but they do not make a Tirana-based account eligible. The creator still has to live in one of the eight to be in the program at all.

So the plan for an Albanian creator is a content plan, not a loophole. Videos aimed at Albanians in Berlin, London or New York build the only diaspora audience that pays a rate. What actually earns money on TikTok in Albania today?

Brand deals and your own products earn money from Albania right now. Neither one waits for TikTok to add a country to a list, and both pay through a route you choose.

TikTok Shop is a check-your-own-app answer, and TikTok's newsroom explains why we say that. Austria, Belgium, the Netherlands and Poland joined France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Spain and the UK from 15 June 2026. One thing that does not work is buying followers or views. The terms ask for authentic followers and authentic views, so bought numbers do not open the program. Real numbers are the only ones that count.

How big is TikTok in Albania, and why does that not pay?

TikTok's ads can reach 1.23 million adults in Albania, and not one of their views pays a rate. That combination of a sizeable audience and a zero rate is the whole gap in one sentence.

TikTok's own ad tools reported reach of 1.23 million users aged 18 and over in Albania in late 2025. DataReportal puts that at 55.6% of all adults. That is an advertiser planning figure, not a count of real people.

The number went down, not up. The same report says TikTok's adult ad reach in Albania fell by 138 thousand people, or 10.1%, over the year to late 2025. DataReportal notes that platforms sometimes revise the reach figures in their ad tools, and that such corrections can appear as a drop.

The country behind it is small and online. Albania's population stood at 2.77 million in October 2025, with 2.45 million internet users, or 88.4% of the country. The median age was 37.3 years, so this is an adult audience rather than a teenage one.

Put that next to the money. A creator in Mexico with a smaller audience can join Creator Rewards, while a creator in Tirana with a bigger one cannot. Reach and pay are not the same thing, and the gap is about geography, not talent.

How can a creator in Albania get inside Creator Rewards?

Only two routes are honest. Either move to one of the eight countries and live there, or take over an account that is already based in one of them. Both work, and neither is free.

Moving is clean but slow. The program wants you to live in a country where it runs, which in practice means an address and local payment details. It is not a setting you flip in the app.

A VPN is not a route. TikTok's program terms say you must reside in a country where the program runs and not use a VPN or similar tool. A VPN changes your IP for a session. Where you live and where your money lands stay the same.
