Is TikTok Creator Rewards available in Serbia?

No. Creator Rewards runs in eight countries, and Serbia is not on that list. The eight are the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Japan, South Korea, Brazil and Mexico. Nothing in South East Europe made the cut.

The first thing TikTok checks is where you live. The Creator Rewards Program terms require a legal resident of a country where the Program is made available. That person also has to be 18 or older. A creator living in Belgrade, Nis or Novi Sad misses that requirement before any follower count is looked at. Our Creator Rewards countries page keeps the eight in one place.

The European version of the terms carries the same lock. The EEA program terms say the program is available only in selected countries, and Serbia is not one they name. There is no waiting list either. Creators outside the eight cannot apply, and there is no form to fill in.

Everything else in the terms only kicks in after the country test. Those terms want at least 10,000 authentic followers and at least 100,000 authentic video views over the last 30 days. A Business Account cannot join. Payouts start at a $50 minimum, in US dollars or the local currency equivalent.

This is why a Serbian creator never sees a rejection email. There is no application to reject, and the payout tab simply never appears in the app. A refusal inside one of the eight is a different animal, and it usually has a fix. Why do views from Serbia pay $0?

Because only qualified views earn, and a view from inside Serbia can never qualify. The EEA terms say rewards are calculated based on the country the views come from, and Serbia carries no rate at all.

Qualified is a strict word here. The viewer has to watch for at least five seconds. The viewer must not have tapped not interested. Repeat views from one account are counted once, and the video has to be at least one minute long.

Then comes the country test, and this is the one Serbia fails. The viewer must be inside one of the eight paying countries when the view happens. A viewer in Kragujevac fails it, and so does a viewer in Subotica. TikTok looks at where the phone is, not at what language the video is in.

Put numbers on it with the creator-reported rate of roughly $0.40 to $1.00 per 1,000 qualified US views. Imagine a clip that does 300,000 views, with 10,000 of them qualified views from the US. Those 10,000 views pay about $4 to $10. The other 290,000 views pay nothing at all.

Now give that same clip 300,000 qualified US views instead. It pays about $120 to $300, from the same view count. The gap is 30 times, and it comes entirely from where the viewers were sitting. Our qualified views page breaks down each test in turn.

Two more floors catch people. A video that runs 50 seconds pays $0 no matter who watches it, because it never becomes an eligible video. And an account under 10,000 followers is not in the program at all, which we cover on our followers to get paid page.

Which countries with a big Serbian diaspora actually pay?

Germany, France and the United States pay, and Austria and Switzerland do not. All five hold a large Serbian population, so the split decides where a Serbian-language audience is worth money.

Germany hosts the biggest group by far. Destatis, the German statistics office, counted 271,285 Serbian nationals living in Germany at the end of 2025. That count covers people holding a Serbian passport only. Naturalised Germans of Serbian origin and their children sit outside it, so the real Serbian-speaking audience is larger.

France is smaller but still counts. INSEE, the French statistics office, recorded 74,000 immigrants born in Serbia living in France in 2023. INSEE names Serbia as one of the main origin countries for immigrants from European countries outside the EU, alongside Russia and Switzerland.

The United States pays too, and it holds a Serbian-American community that goes back generations. Any view from inside the US can qualify, and the creator-reported rates on this page are US rates. For an eligible account, Serbian-language content aimed at that community is a real plan, not a gimmick.

Austria is the painful one. Statistik Austria counted 122,459 Serbian citizens living in Austria at the start of 2025, which makes Serbs the fourth-largest foreign nationality there. That is a huge audience, and every one of its views pays $0, because Austria sits outside the eight.

Switzerland follows the same pattern. It has a large Serbian community and no place among the eight, so views from Zurich or Basel earn nothing. Our Creator Rewards in Switzerland page covers the Swiss side of that.

One caution before you build a plan around Germany. Views from Berlin or Paris lift the earnings of an account that is already eligible. They do not make an account based in Belgrade eligible. What actually earns money on TikTok in Serbia today?

Direct brand deals and things you sell yourself. Neither depends on TikTok adding Serbia to any list, and both are open to a creator in Serbia this week.

TikTok Shop is not on the table yet. TikTok's own newsroom names its European Shop markets. Austria, Belgium, the Netherlands and Poland joined France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Spain and the UK from 15 June 2026. Serbia is absent from that list, so check the Shop tab in your own app before you count on affiliate commission.

A brand deal needs no permission from TikTok. A creator in Serbia with an engaged audience can invoice a brand directly, and the two sides pick the payment route together. Settle that route before you agree a fee. A registered business, an invoice in euros, or an international transfer service all work when they are lined up first.

Selling your own product runs on the same logic. A service, a course, a coaching call, a physical item, whatever it is, TikTok only sends the traffic. The money lands in a checkout you own, so no platform decision can shut it off.

Buying followers is the one shortcut that fails on contact. TikTok's program terms require authentic followers and authentic views, so a padded number never gets an account into Creator Rewards. Growth that is real is the only kind the program can see.

How big is TikTok in Serbia, and why does none of it pay a rate?

TikTok reaches about 2.98 million adults in Serbia, and not one of their views carries a Creator Rewards rate. That is more than half of all adults in the country, watching on a platform with no payout tab for Serbian creators.

The number comes from TikTok's own ad planning tools, as reported by DataReportal. They put TikTok's reach at 2.98 million users aged 18 and over in Serbia in late 2025, or 53.9% of adults. It is an advertiser estimate rather than a census, but the scale is not in doubt.

Growth is still running. The same report shows adult ad reach in Serbia up by 449,000 people, or 17.8%, between the end of 2024 and late 2025. None of that growth earned a Serbian creator a cent from the program.

Serbia itself is small and heavily online. DataReportal gives a population of 6.68 million in October 2025, with 6.13 million internet users, or 91.8% of the country. The median age is 44.4 years.

Then look at who can join. Someone in Mexico City with a modest following can join Creator Rewards. Someone in Belgrade with millions of views cannot, and nothing about the content decided that. It is a map problem, not a talent problem.

How can a creator in Serbia get inside Creator Rewards?

Only two routes are real. Either live in one of the eight countries, or run an account that is already based in one. Both cost something, in time or in money.

Living there is the slow, clean route. The terms tie eligibility to where you reside, so this means a real address and local payment details in a paying country. No setting inside the app gets you there.
