Is the TikTok Creator Rewards Program Available in Turkey?

Updated 2026-08-15

Short answer

No — TikTok Creator Rewards is not available in Turkey. In 2026 the program runs in just eight countries. They are the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Japan, South Korea, Brazil and Mexico. A Turkey-based account cannot join. Views from Turkish viewers do not count as qualified views. They pay $0, even if the creator lives in an eligible country. TikTok ads reach 68.6 percent of adults in Turkey, says DataReportal. None of that reach pays out.

Is the TikTok Creator Rewards Program available in Turkey?

No. Turkey is not on the list. The program runs in eight countries in 2026, and Turkey is not one of them.

The eight are the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Japan, South Korea, Brazil and Mexico. That is the whole list. TikTok's own program terms say you have to be a legal resident of a country where the program runs, so a Turkish account cannot apply.

Inside those eight countries, the entry rules are the same for everyone:

You need 10,000 followers on the account before it will qualify.

You need 100,000 video views across the last 30 days.

You have to be at least 18 years old.

The account has to be a personal account, not a business one.

Your videos have to be one minute or longer to earn at all.

And your own country has to be one of the eight on the list.

That last rule is the one that stops Turkey. Followers and views do not override it. You can hit every number and still be locked out, because the country check comes first. Our full country list shows how narrow the program still is.

Why do views from Turkey pay nothing?

Because views from Turkey are not qualified views. Creator Rewards only counts views that come from the same eight countries, so a Turkish audience pays zero even when the creator is eligible.

A qualified view is stricter than it sounds. Four things have to be true at once:

The video has to be one minute or longer. That is the one-minute rule.

The viewer has to watch for at least five seconds.

Repeat views from the same account only count once, and views someone marks "not interested" do not count at all.

The viewer has to be in one of the eight program countries.

A view from Turkey fails that last test, however long they watch.

So the country rule is not only about where you live. There are two gates here, and you have to clear both of them.

Gate one is the account itself, and it asks where you live.

Gate two is the audience, and it asks where each view came from.

Creator-reported figures put qualified US views at roughly $0.40 to $1.00 per 1,000. So a video with 500,000 views from Turkish viewers earns nothing at all from Creator Rewards. The same video, with 500,000 qualified US views, would land somewhere near $200 to $500.

This is why a big Turkish following is worth so little in payout terms. The audience is the asset, and the wrong audience pays $0. Here is how qualified views are counted.

Turkey has the audience. It just has no payout button.

Turkey is not a small TikTok market. DataReportal's Digital 2026 report says TikTok had 44.9 million users aged 18 and above in Turkey in late 2025. TikTok ads reached 68.6 percent of all adults in the country.

The same report puts TikTok's ad reach at 57.9 percent of Turkey's internet users. It also says potential ad reach in Turkey grew by 5.80 million people in a single year, up 14.8 percent. DataReportal splits that adult ad audience 59.4 percent male and 40.6 percent female.

So the audience is huge, still growing fast, and easily big enough to build a real business on, which means reach is not the problem in Turkey.

The problem is that none of it converts into view payouts. A creator in Istanbul can post the same video as a creator in Berlin, get more views, and be paid nothing for them. That gap has nothing to do with skill or effort, because it is only a line on a map.

What actually pays a creator in Turkey today?

Brand deals, your own products, and maybe LIVE gifts. None of those is Creator Rewards. TikTok Shop has no Turkish market, so affiliate commission is out as well.

LIVE gifts are the closest thing to a TikTok payout that may be open to you. Viewers buy coins, send gifts during a live stream, and gifts turn into Diamonds you can cash out. The published rules are 18 or over, at least 1,000 followers, an account at least 30 days old, a personal account in good standing, and a region where gifts are switched on. TikTok does not disclose its cut, which is estimated at around 70 percent of what a viewer spends.

TikTok does not publish a country list for gifts, so check the LIVE tools in your own app before planning around it. One signal: TikTok is hiring a LIVE Partner Growth and Incubation Manager in Istanbul, to onboard agencies, MCNs and talent organisations and build the TikTok LIVE ecosystem in Turkey. That is a sign, not proof that gifts are on for your account.

TikTok Shop is a harder no. When TikTok announced its European expansion on 28 May 2026, it named Austria, Belgium, the Netherlands and Poland going live on 15 June, joining France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Spain and the UK. Turkey was not named. An industry tracker counted 19 TikTok Shop seller markets in July 2026, and Turkey was not one of them. No shop means no affiliate commission.

That leaves the money that never touches a TikTok program. Brand deals are paid by the brand, straight to you, and TikTok has no say in who they hire. Selling your own product or service works the same way. So does sending viewers to a site, a store, or a channel you own.

It is a worse deal than a US creator gets. It is still real money, and it is the money that is actually open to you today.

Does Turkey block or restrict TikTok?

TikTok works normally in Turkey on a normal day. But access has been cut during political events, and a new law will lock under-15s out of the app.

Human Rights Watch reported that X, TikTok, YouTube, Instagram and Telegram were throttled in Istanbul for 42 hours in March 2025, after the detention of the city's mayor. On 7 September 2025, TikTok was again unreachable in Istanbul for about 21 hours. That outage came during a police blockade of the opposition CHP's Istanbul headquarters.

In April 2026, Turkey's parliament passed a law banning under-15s from social media, naming YouTube, TikTok, Facebook and Instagram. Platforms have to run age checks, with identity confirmed through the state e-Devlet portal. Foreign services with more than 100,000 daily users also have to appoint a representative in Turkey. Penalties climb from advertising bans, to speed limits that throttle the app, to blocking access outright.

None of this is why Creator Rewards is missing. Creator Rewards already asks you to be 18 or over, so the under-15 law does not touch it. The country gate is TikTok's own choice about where to run the program. Turkey did not ban it. TikTok never opened it.

How do you get into Creator Rewards from Turkey?

There are two honest answers, and neither is free. You either move to one of the eight countries for real, or you run an account that is already based in one of them.

Moving is the clean route, and it is also by far the slowest one. Real eligibility means living there, holding a local address and payment details, and staying long enough for it to be true. And even then, the views still have to come from the eight countries, so you would be rebuilding your audience as well as your life. That is a slow and costly road.

A VPN is not a workaround, because all it really changes is the network you appear to be on. It does not change the region tied to your account or the payout details behind it, and claiming to live somewhere you do not goes against TikTok's rules.

The paid shortcut is a US-based account that is already in the program. It clears the country gate because the account itself is American. Be clear about the trade: buying or selling an account breaks TikTok's terms of service. That is a platform rule, and TikTok can act on the account if it spots the transfer. You are choosing to break that rule.

Be just as clear about what an account does not fix. It hands you the first gate, not the second. Your videos still have to reach US viewers to earn, and that means making content American viewers want to watch. If your audience stays Turkish, a US account earns close to nothing.

If you want the detail before deciding, read is it legal to buy a TikTok account and what a US-based account involves.

The US-based shortcut, stated plainly

A monetized TikTok account for $167 flat, delivered within 24 hours, with a 30-day guarantee. It is US-based, so it clears the country gate Turkey cannot. Buying an account breaks TikTok's terms of service, which is a platform rule. And your views still have to come from the US to pay.
