Is Z2U Legit? What We Found on Its TikTok and YouTube Shelves

Is Z2U a legit marketplace?

Yes. Z2U is a real trading site with two named Hong Kong operators, public rules and a payment hold behind each order. We found nothing that supports a scam label for the platform.

Z2U's about page calls it "a platform trying to build a freely and reliable trade environment between gamers and gamers." That page lists game items, game accounts and boosting services. Social media accounts are sold on the same site. When we loaded the TikTok accounts category on 22 September 2026, it counted 2,698 offers. Three days earlier the same page showed 2,979, so the count moves from week to week.

A notice on that category says each product "is offered by independent sellers on this platform." So Z2U is the venue, not the seller. Outside payment partners process the money, and Z2U's service team can rule when a buyer and a seller disagree.

One thing to know up front: we sell TikTok accounts and YouTube channels at MonetizedNow, which makes Z2U a rival of ours. That is why each figure here links to the page we read it on, all opened on 22 September 2026.

The venue passes, and the part that changes from order to order is the seller. Z2U gives you a tool for that, since the seller goes unpaid while you test what arrived.

Which companies operate Z2U?

Two Hong Kong companies do. The Z2U user agreement states that the site is "jointly operated by Macro Excellence Technology Limited and Jian Can Limited."

The agreement gives an office for each firm. Macro Excellence is at Efficiency House, 35 Tai Yau Street, San Po Kong, Kowloon. Jian Can is at Lucky Centre on Wan Chai Road. The Macro Excellence name and address also sit in the footer of each Z2U page we opened.

Both names turn up in Hong Kong company listings. One directory shows Jian Can Limited as a live private company, incorporated on 19 January 2021 with CR number 3012838. That directory also shows Macro Excellence Technology Limited as live and incorporated on 26 November 2024. A second directory lists its business registration number as 77379012.

The Z2U brand is older than both filings. The about page claims 10+ years of shop experience and more than 18 million customers served. Those figures are Z2U's own. Scamadviser's report on z2u.com puts the domain's first registration at 10 November 1999. It also notes that the owner's name is hidden on WHOIS.

Hong Kong law governs the agreement, and Hong Kong courts hear any dispute under it. The same document calls Z2U "a technology service provider" and leaves payment services to its payment partners.

That gives you a paper trail before you spend anything, with two company names, two addresses and one court system on the record.

What does Z2UProtection cover on an account order?

Z2UProtection covers two things: an order that never arrives and an item that differs from its description. Your payment is released to the seller only after you confirm receipt or the system confirms for you.

The Z2UProtection buyer page spells out both cases. One is that the buyer "did not receive their order." The other is an item that "does not match product description." A change of mind, a trade done away from Z2U and an order you already confirmed all sit outside it.

Z2U sets a clear ceiling. Point 9 on that page says "Z2UProtection is not a product warranty." It adds that the platform "solely serves as an intermediary for information provision and coordination."

Timing matters most. Z2U's refund policy treats goods as accepted when no claim is raised "within seventy two (72) hours upon delivery." Its order status guide says the system confirms receipt by itself after 3 days. Z2U's article on the seller earnings freeze says 7 days, so plan around the shorter clock.

Insurance sits on top of that. Under Z2U's insurance program, the seller's income stays frozen for the insurance period. The program page calls insurance "a product warranty commitment provided by the seller." For a dispute raised in that window, it says "Z2U can directly take action to protect buyers." On 22 September 2026, 37 of the 40 TikTok offers on page one showed a "Free Insurance for 7 days" badge.

Sellers then wait again, because the earnings freeze runs from 15 days at the lowest seller level down to 1 day at the highest. On insured orders it starts when the insurance period ends.

Z2U also makes sellers prove delivery. Its delivery proof requirements ask account sellers for one unbroken screen recording of the login. For an ownership transfer, the proof should show the email or phone number changed to the buyer's details. A seller who skips the proof is treated as having sent none, and Z2U rules on that basis.

If something is wrong, do not confirm the order. Pick After-sales service instead, and choose Escalate to Z2U if the talks stall. The dispute guide says a full ruling takes around 30 days. A case you close yourself stays closed, so leave it open until the fix lands.

Used on time, the hold works in your favor. Test the account inside 72 hours and leave the order unconfirmed until it matches. The seller's payout waits while Z2U weighs your evidence.

How much does Z2U cost buyers and sellers?

Buyers pay a payment processing fee at checkout, and the price on the page can already include a Z2U add-on fee. Sellers list for free and pay an order processing fee of 5% to 9%.

The payment processing fee goes to the payment processor and depends on your order amount. Z2U says the rate shows once you pick a payment method at checkout. On your order page it can appear as Service Charge. Each of the five offers we opened carried the line "Excludes payment processing fees" under the price.

Then there is the add-on fee. Z2U's add-on fee article defines it as "an additional cost that Z2U added to the sales price set by the seller." In its worked example, a seller prices an item at 100 US dollars and the buyer sees 110. That example also gives a credit card payment fee of 3.5% plus 0.30 US dollars. One UK offer in the TikTok category shows a gap of that size in plain view. Its title says you can buy for 16 dollars, and the price next to it was 17.60 US dollars.

Sellers cover the rest. The seller fee page lists free registration, free listings and a default order processing fee of 5% to 9%. The store ranking table links the rate to monthly sales. A Bronze store selling under 1,000 US dollars a month pays 9%. A Legendary store above 20,000 US dollars pays 5%.

Sellers also pay to withdraw, for example 2.99% plus 0.99 US dollars by PayPal. On some product lines Z2U asks sellers for a security deposit of at least 100 US dollars. Five of the 40 page-one TikTok offers wore a Security Deposit Paid badge on 22 September 2026.

A cancelled order is refunded to your Z2U credits balance first. The cancellation guide says you can then ask for the money back on your original payment method. It adds that the credits refund leaves out the payment processing fee. The refund policy notes that a refund through a bank may need 14 days or more.

The total is never a surprise, because Z2U's refund policy says the final amount, with all fees and taxes, is shown before the payment page.

What do you see on a Z2U TikTok account offer?

You see a seller's stock line, not one named account. Each offer gives a title, a price, a delivery time, a spec table and the seller's record on Z2U.

The category is large, and its filters split it further. On 22 September 2026, 147 offers were marked yes for TikTok Shop and 2,372 were marked no. Another 2,130 said the account details can be changed immediately. The Account Ownership Transfer tag sat on 2,445 offers, and 7 were rentals.

Page one held 40 offers from 28 sellers. The cheapest was an aged account at 1.10 US dollars, and the dearest was 231 US dollars for an account sold as monetized. 24 of the 40 promised delivery in 15 minutes, and 5 said instant. All 40 wore a Verified Seller badge.

Click into an offer and two panels appear. The spec table covers followers, views, likes, TikTok Shop, Live access, country and whether the login details can be changed. The seller panel shows years on Z2U, order dispute rate, positive ratings, six-month sales and dispute resolution time.

Seller records differ widely. The seller behind one aged-account offer showed 101,949 positive ratings at 99.96%, more than 6 years on Z2U and a 3.69% dispute rate. The seller of a 15,000-follower offer priced at 77 US dollars showed less than 1 year on the site and under 1,000 orders in six months.

None of the four TikTok offers we opened gave the account's handle. Stock read "Adequate stock" or "In stock," as you would expect from a stock line. A 0.66 US dollar offer for fresh accounts asked buyers to message the country they want.

Listings can also change or come down. Z2U's seller rules require product descriptions that are accurate and not misleading. They also let Z2U pull a listing it deems legally risky "at any time without prior notice." So take a screenshot of the title, description and spec table before you pay, and your proof outlives the listing.

Judge the seller panel before the title, and ask for the account's handle in Z2U chat. Z2U's trading safety guidelines count only chat records from its own system as evidence. How is a monetized TikTok account sold on Z2U?

A monetized TikTok account on Z2U is sold on the seller's written claim. Z2U's terms give it no control over listing accuracy, so the description is the promise that Z2UProtection measures delivery against.

On 22 September 2026, the most expensive page-one offer was a Monetized TikTok Account listing at 231 US dollars. The title states 10K+ followers, 200K+ likes and "Monetization Enabled." Delivery was 45 minutes, and the offer carried 7 days of free insurance.

Two spec fields deserve a question in chat. The Followers field read 1000+ while the title says 10K+. The field named Account information changeable read "Unable to change." The description, for its part, lists full account access with email access included.

The seller was upfront about limits. The description says monetization status and earnings can change with TikTok's systems. It also says "No guaranteed earnings or guaranteed future monetization." The seller panel showed 9,613 positive ratings at 99.88%, a 1.72% dispute rate and more than 3 years on Z2U.

The user agreement leaves the claim with the seller. Clause 4.2 gives Z2U no control over "the truth or accuracy of the listings" and no duty "to conduct pre-screening on users."

The seller owes you more than a login. Z2U's seller rules demand "full account details" on delivery and a warranty period that the seller states on the product page. Inside that period, a fault you did not cause earns a replacement, a redelivery or a pro-rata refund.

So get the promise in writing before you pay. Ask in chat which TikTok program is active, whether the email can be changed and how long the warranty runs. Does Z2U sell YouTube channels?

Yes, inside its YouTube Accounts category. Channels share that category with YouTube Premium subscriptions, so a channel offer can carry Premium-style spec fields.

Z2U's YouTube Accounts category counted 254 offers on 22 September 2026. Page one showed 40 offers from 17 sellers. Many were YouTube Premium plans, priced from 3.28 US dollars. Aged channels ran from 4.95 to 42.46 US dollars, and the dearest offer on the page was a 2014 account at 2,277.31 US dollars.

One seller offered a channel sold as monetized for 264 US dollars. Its title lists 1,100 subscribers, 4,000 watch hours and "Full access (ownership transfer)." Delivery was set at 168 hours, and the offer came with 15 days of free insurance.

The spec fields were built for subscriptions. They read "Subscription duration: Less than 1 Month(Trial Account)" and "Account type: Individual Premium." The seller panel showed 388 positive ratings at 99.49%, a 5.82% dispute rate and less than 1 year on Z2U.

Insurance runs longer here than in the TikTok category. Of the 40 page-one offers, 25 carried a 15-day badge, 8 carried 30 days and the other 7 showed none.

Ask the seller how the channel will change hands. Z2U's account ownership transfer guide has buyers change the password, the bound email and the phone number, then turn on two-factor login. How is Z2U rated on review sites?

Outside ratings are thin, and they disagree. Scamadviser calls z2u.com Very Likely Safe, Trustpilot has taken its Z2U profile down, and SmartCustomer rates Z2U 2.0 out of 5 across 60 reviews.

On 22 September 2026, Trustpilot's z2u.com page read "This profile has been removed." Trustpilot explains only that the business "goes against our guidelines." It names no specific guideline, which leaves no score or review count to quote.

Scamadviser labels z2u.com "Very Likely Safe" and says it "has an average to good trust score." Its summary line reads "It seems that z2u.com is legit and safe to use and not a scam website." Its positives include a long-held domain, a valid SSL certificate and payment methods that let you get money back.

On SmartCustomer, Z2U was rated 2.0 out of 5 across 60 reviews on 22 September 2026, and 73% of them give one star while 20% give five. Its AI summary credits prompt sellers, a wide range and competitive prices. It also lists withheld seller funds, unresponsive support and defective products. A banner on the same page says Z2U "has been flagged for suspicious review activity."

Sixty reviews is a tiny sample next to Z2U's own counters. A single TikTok seller showed 101,949 positive ratings. Z2U's TikTok category displayed 4.8 out of 5, and its YouTube category displayed 4.9.

Z2U's store ranking guide says buyers with completed orders are the ones who rate sellers. That makes the seller panel the most useful review you will find. Read the dispute rate and the years on Z2U for the one seller you plan to pay. Those figures sit on every offer, so you always have a record to check first.

Z2U or a direct store: which fits your purchase?

Z2U fits low-cost, simple buys such as fresh accounts, aged blanks and game items. A direct store fits a buyer who wants a single monetized account and cover that runs beyond a 7-day badge.

Z2U does a lot right. It names its operators, puts a payment hold on each order, takes photo ID from verified sellers and freezes seller income while insurance runs. For a test account, a seller with years on the site and a low dispute rate is a sound pick.
