Is TikTok Creator Rewards available in Morocco?

No. Morocco is not one of the eight countries where the program runs. Creator Rewards is open in the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Japan, South Korea, Brazil and Mexico. That list is the whole list.

Where you live is the first gate. TikTok's Creator Rewards Program terms ask you to reside in a country where the program is available. They also rule out VPNs by name. A Morocco-based account fails that test before anything else is checked.

The other rules only matter once you are inside one of the eight. TikTok's terms set them out:

At least 10,000 authentic followers on the account.

At least 100,000 authentic video views in the last 30 days.

Age 18 or over.

A personal account, not a Business Account.

Videos one minute or longer, because shorter ones do not earn.

The full list of eligible countries is on our Creator Rewards countries page. It is a short list, and Morocco has never been on it. TikTok has not announced a plan to add it.

Why do views from Morocco pay $0?

Because the program pays only for qualified views, and a view from Rabat can never be one. A qualified view is much narrower than a view.

Four things have to be true at the same time:

The video is one minute or longer.

The viewer watches for five seconds or more.

The viewer has not marked the video as not interested.

The viewer is in one of the eight countries. Repeat views from the same account count as one view.

A view from inside Morocco fails that last test. It earns nothing, however long the person watches.

That is a second gate, and it stays shut after you clear the first one. A Moroccan creator who moves to France still earns $0 on every viewer back home.

Here is the math, and it only works on a video over a minute long. Say that video gets 1,000,000 views, and 100,000 of them are qualified US views. At a creator-reported $0.40 to $1.00 per 1,000 qualified US views, it pays about $40 to $100. The other 900,000 views pay nothing.

Now flip it. The same video with 1,000,000 qualified US views pays about $400 to $1,000. Same view count. Ten times the money.

Money also has to build up before it moves. TikTok's terms set a minimum payment threshold of $50.00 USD, or the same value in local currency. Under that, the balance just sits in the dashboard.

Morocco has the audience. It does not have the payout button.

Morocco is a big TikTok market. TikTok's ad tools reached 16.7 million adults there in late 2025, and none of that reach pays a Creator Rewards rate.

DataReportal's Digital 2026 Morocco report puts that at 62.3 percent of all adults aged 18 and above. It is 47.1 percent of the country's internet users. Reach grew by 2.68 million people in a year, up 19.1 percent.

The same report splits that adult ad audience 59.3 percent male and 40.7 percent female. That skew is worth knowing before you pitch a brand, because it tells them who they are buying.

These are advertiser estimates, not a head count of real people. Even so, the direction is clear. The audience is large, and it is still growing fast.

So reach is not the problem in Morocco. A creator in Casablanca can post the same video as a creator in Lyon, get more views, and be paid nothing for them. That gap is not about skill or effort. It is a line on a map.

France is one of the eight. Does that help a Moroccan creator?

It helps the views, not the entry. France is one of the eight countries, so a view from someone sitting in France can be a qualified view. But the creator still has to be eligible in one of the eight to be in the program at all.

Read that twice, because it is the point people get wrong. Being watched in France does not put you in the program. It only means those views would count if you were already in.

The French audience is real, and it is big. INSEE reports that 8.0 million immigrants lived in France in 2025, and that 11.7 percent of them were born in Morocco. That is the second largest group, just behind Algeria.

So a French-language video made in Morocco can pull a large French audience. Those views can pay, but only for an account that is already eligible. A Morocco-based account still earns $0 from them, because it cannot join.

Spain is the other half of the picture, and it works differently. Spain's statistics office INE reports that Moroccans were the largest foreign nationality in Spain, at 968,999 people on 1 January 2025. Spain is not one of the eight. So those views pay $0 for everyone, eligible or not.

Arabic and Darija content hits the same wall. The eight countries are the map. Language is not, and neither is how good the video is.

There is still a useful takeaway. If you already make French content, your audience is worth more under this program than an Arabic-only one. The eligibility gate is simply the thing to solve first.

What actually pays a creator in Morocco today?

Brand deals and your own products. Both are open to anyone in Morocco, and neither one waits for TikTok to switch a country on.

TikTok Shop is not an option there. TikTok's own seller sign-up list names every market where you can register to sell. It covers the United States, Mexico and Brazil, seven markets in Asia, and nine in Europe. Morocco is not on it. No shop also means no affiliate commission.

Brand deals have no country switch at all. A brand pays you directly, in whatever way you both agree. Nothing in that deal depends on TikTok's payout map, so the brand decides what your audience is worth.

Selling your own thing works the same way. A service, a course, a product, a booking. TikTok is only the traffic. The money moves through your own checkout.

Getting paid from abroad is the part to plan. Morocco runs its foreign exchange rules through the Office des Changes. Its exchange regulation pages say those rules set the terms for residents and non-residents alike. They also say most operations now go straight through authorised banks, and that fewer of them need prior approval each year.

That is a planning step, not a wall. Agree the currency and the payment route before you invoice, and ask your bank which account fits. Moroccan creators get paid by foreign brands every day, and doing it by the book keeps the money coming.

One thing that does not work: buying followers or views. TikTok's terms ask for authentic followers and authentic views, so bought numbers do not get an account into Creator Rewards.

How can a creator in Morocco get inside Creator Rewards?

There are two honest routes. Move to one of the eight countries and live there, or run an account that is already based in one of them.

Moving is the clean route. It is also slow and costly. TikTok's terms ask you to reside in an eligible country, which means an address and local payment details. That is not a setting you flip in the app.

A VPN is not a route. TikTok's terms name VPNs and rule them out. A VPN changes the network you appear on. It does not change where you live, and it does not change where your money lands.
