Is TikTok Creator Rewards Available in Georgia, the Country or the State?

Updated 2026-09-08

Short answer

Which Georgia you mean changes the answer. TikTok Creator Rewards pays in eight countries: the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Japan, South Korea, Brazil and Mexico. The US state of Georgia is inside that list, because the state is part of the United States. A creator in Atlanta needs 10,000 followers, 100,000 video views in the last 30 days, an age of 18 or over, a Personal account rather than a Business one, and videos longer than one minute. The country of Georgia in the Caucasus is not on the list, so a creator in Tbilisi has nothing to apply for. TikTok also works rewards out from the country each view comes from, so views watched inside Georgia add nothing, even on an account that qualifies. Money moves once a balance reaches $50.

Which Georgia are you asking about, the country or the US state?

Two very different places share the name. One is a country in the Caucasus, sitting between Turkey and Russia. The other is a state in the American south, with Atlanta as its capital. TikTok treats the two as opposites.

The state is covered. It belongs to the United States, and the United States is one of the eight markets that pay Creator Rewards. A creator in Atlanta, Savannah or Augusta has already cleared the hardest question on this page.

The country is not covered. TikTok has never turned the program on there. A creator in Tbilisi, Batumi or Kutaisi has no form to fill in and no button to press. Our eligible countries page sets out the whole roster in one table.

Here is that roster in one line. TikTok pays Creator Rewards in the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Japan, South Korea, Brazil and Mexico. Eight names, and no ninth.

Both halves of the question get a proper answer below. For a quick read on your own case, type your country into our Creator Rewards country checker and see what status it returns.

Can a creator based in the country of Georgia join Creator Rewards?

No, and the reason is short. TikTok has not launched the program in the country of Georgia. An account run from Tbilisi never reaches a sign-up screen at all.

TikTok reads your address before it reads your stats. Two conditions sit near the top of the Creator Rewards Program terms. You have to be 18 or older. You also have to be a legal resident of a country where the program is made available. Georgia is not such a country, so no later line in the terms can rescue you.

Follower counts only start to matter once the map lets you through. Read the EEA program terms and the bar comes down to two figures. One is 10,000 authentic followers. The other is 100,000 authentic video views in the 30 days before you join. That page also shuts out Business Accounts.

The word those terms lean on is reside. They also ask you not to lean on a VPN or other similar tool. A VPN moves your IP address for an evening. It does not move you.

So nobody in Georgia is turned down, because nobody there gets as far as applying. That is a very different problem from a no inside the eight, where the cause is usually one of a handful of fixable things. We work through them on our rejected applications page.

It is worth saying what this is not. Georgia has not been banned, blocked or penalised. TikTok simply pays creators in eight markets, and has not added a ninth.

What is a view from inside the country of Georgia worth?

It adds nothing to a Creator Rewards balance. The money follows where a view comes from, and Georgia is not a paying market.

The EEA program terms put it in plain words. Rewards are worked out from the country of the video views origin, the number of views, video engagement and how authentic each view looks. Georgia is absent from the paying side of that sum, so a view served there has no rate behind it.

A qualified view is narrow to begin with. The terms ask the viewer to watch for five seconds or more, and to leave the clip alone rather than mark it not interested. Several views from one account are counted as one.

Video length is a hard floor as well. A clip has to run one minute or longer to be in the program at all. A 45-second hit earns nothing, from any country.

Georgian creators lose on both sides of that rule. They cannot join the program themselves, and the home audience they built adds very little for the creators who can.

Our qualified views guide takes each test one at a time. To see the effect in numbers, run a video through the TikTok earnings calculator. The entry bar itself is broken down on our page about how many followers you need to get paid.

Does the US state of Georgia count for Creator Rewards?

Yes. The state of Georgia is part of the United States, and the United States pays. The residency rule that stops Tbilisi is already open in Atlanta.

What remains is the ordinary checklist. You need 10,000 followers. You need 100,000 video views over the last 30 days. You need to be 18 or over. Your account has to be a Personal one, not a Business one, and your videos have to run past a minute.

The state is a big home market on its own. Census Bureau estimates put its resident population at 11.3 million on 1 July 2025. Every one of those people sits inside a paying country.

The national picture is bigger again. TikTok's own ad planner claimed reach of 153 million American adults at the end of 2025. On DataReportal's read that is 55.7% of every US adult. It is an advertiser's own estimate, useful for scale rather than for precision.

Payment has a clock on it. The US terms work rewards out in the month after they are earned, then pay on the 15th, once the payable amount clears $50. Our payout schedule page follows that timeline step by step, and our free TikTok monetization checker tests your own account against the rules.

One warning for anyone in Atlanta reading this as a formality. Clearing the country rule is the start of the process, not the end of it. The follower and view bars are where most US creators actually stall.

Selling is open in the state too. TikTok announced the full launch of TikTok Shop in the US on 12 September 2023. The same post introduced commission-based product marketing for creators. Entry rules for that sit on our Shop affiliate page.

Do viewers in Germany or the United States pay a Georgian creator?

They pay the account, not the language it speaks. German and American viewers can produce views that earn, but only for a creator who already lives inside the eight. A Tbilisi account never gets that far.

Order is everything here. TikTok looks at where the creator lives first. Only after that does it care where the views came from. Fail the first step and the second one never runs.

This is where the diaspora split gets sharp. Georgians have settled in numbers in both Germany and the United States, and both of those are paying markets. A Georgian in Berlin or in Marietta holds residency inside the eight. A cousin back in Kutaisi does not, even posting the same video in the same language on the same day.

The audience on the paying side is huge. The same ad planner listed 23.7 million adult users in Germany at the end of 2025. That works out at 33.9% of German adults. Set the 153 million American adults beside it and you have the two widest doors in the program.

Read the next bit slowly, because people get it backwards. Views from Berlin add to the pot of an account that already qualifies. They cannot put a Georgian-based account into the program in the first place.

Language is not the barrier people assume, either. Plenty of accounts inside the eight post in a language their host country barely speaks, and still get paid. The rule is about residency, not about content.

The same shape repeats right around the region. See how it plays out in our write-ups on Creator Rewards in Turkey and Creator Rewards in Ukraine.

Why does TikTok reach nine in ten Georgian adults and still pay nothing?

Because the program pays by the map, not by the numbers. Reach tells you how many people you can touch. It says nothing at all about what a touch is worth.

The Georgian reach figure is striking. Ad planning data pulled by DataReportal counted 2.57 million users aged 18 and over at the end of 2025, or 89.5% of every adult in the country. The same report counts a population of 3.81 million and 3.05 million social media identities in October 2025. Round those in your head rather than bank on them, because they are advertiser estimates.

Now hold that against the payout map. A creator in Mexico can join Creator Rewards today. A creator in Tbilisi cannot, however healthy the dashboard looks. Our TikTok RPM calculator shows what that gap is worth per thousand views.

EU law is not the cause, whatever you may have read. Georgia is not an EU member, and the EU's own list of member countries stops at 27 names. TikTok's EEA terms never print a country list in the first place.

The plain reading is duller than a conspiracy. TikTok pays creators in eight markets it has chosen, and Georgia is not yet one of them. Size of audience had nothing to do with the choice.

What can a Georgian creator get paid for today?

Two things pay a creator in Georgia right now: brand deals, and whatever you sell yourself. Both are open today, and TikTok has no say in either.

Brands buy attention, and attention carries no passport. A Georgian-language account with a real, engaged following can send an invoice this month. Terms are settled between you and the brand, in whatever currency suits you both.

Your own product is the stronger route per follower. A course, a service, coaching calls, a physical item: the checkout belongs to you, so the money lands wherever you live. TikTok just sends people to it.

LIVE gifts and TikTok Shop belong in the check-your-own-app column. What is switched on varies by account, by age and by market, and it shifts over time. Tap the LIVE menu and the Shop tab on your own handset. Whatever your app offers there is the real answer for your account.

One route is a dead end. Bought followers and bought views do nothing here, because the terms count only authentic followers and authentic views. Money spent on them is simply gone, in Georgia and everywhere else.

What are the real options for a creator in Tbilisi?

The honest list is short. Either you move to one of the eight countries, or you run an account that is already registered in one.

Moving is slow, and it is also the route with nothing to explain later. Residency is a legal fact built from an address, a bank account and a tax return in that country. No toggle inside the app produces one.

For most creators that is a life decision rather than a marketing decision, and saying no to it is a perfectly sound answer.

Take stock of what you already hold before any money leaves your account. Our TikTok account age checker shows how old a handle really is, a number that brands and buyers both ask about.

The second route is a US-registered account, which answers both problems in one move. The country box is ticked, and the audience it already reaches sits where the rewards are. We sell these, so weigh what follows with that in mind. Ours is the Monetized TikTok Account. One flat price of $197, Creator Rewards already live on the handle, and the login in your hands inside 24 hours.

It will not do the work for you, and we would rather you knew that first. Point it at a Georgian audience and the rewards stay small, because the rate follows the viewer. The account settles the map question. Making videos the eight markets want, and keeping them over a minute, is still your half of the job. The wider range of TikTok accounts for sale starts at $57 for aged handles and $97 for primed ones.

One last thing, said plainly, because you should hear it from us rather than from a forum. Under TikTok's terms of service, an account is not yours to pass to another person without TikTok's permission. Buying one cuts against that rule, and pretending otherwise would be no favour to you. Here is what sits on our side of the deal. A history we have checked ourselves. A full handover inside 24 hours. A 30-day account guarantee, and a 7-day money-back window if you change your mind.

One Georgia is already inside the program. For the other, the only shortcut that does not involve packing a suitcase is a US-registered account.

Our Monetized TikTok Account carries one flat price, $197. It is registered in the United States, Creator Rewards is already live on it, and the login reaches you inside 24 hours. One disclosure before you decide. Under TikTok's terms of service, an account is not yours to pass to another person without TikTok's permission, so a purchase cuts against that rule. On our side of it you get a history we have checked ourselves, a full handover, a 30-day account guarantee and a 7-day money-back window.
